Appreciation breakfast followed by ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the grand opening of InterContinental The Clement Monterey. Property tours of the 208-room hotel will be available.
InterContinental The Clement Monterey is the first new hotel to be built in Monterey since the late 1980s and is expected to be the last new construction for some time, possibly ever, due to city zoning limits in effect since the mid-1980s. An affiliate of Pacific Hotel Management owns the property and Pacific Hotel Management will manage the hotel which will bear the highly-regarded, four-star InterContinental Hotels and Resorts flag. InterContinental The Clement Monterey is part of the brand's exponential growth this year in the Western Region of the U.S. along with InterContinental San Francisco (opened in February) and InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley, AZ (to open in the fall).
