The hotel is located next to the Monterey Bay Aquarium on historic Cannery Row. The hotel features a boardwalk and observation pier providing views down to the underwater world of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.

The hotel is comprised of two four-story buildings connected by an enclosed bridge over Cannery Row. Hotel parking is provided in a separate four-level garage structure.

The Clement Monterey offers the perfect setting for a California ocean front wedding. The hotel features two ballrooms and a large outdoor courtyard that faces the sapphire blue waters on Monterey Bay. Two fire pits provide an ambient glow—particularly romantic at sunset. The Pacific Ballroom and the Ocean Terrace Ballroom can accommodate groups up to 300 people and the outdoor courtyards can accommodate up to 450 people.
